Lord Wandsworth College

Senior co-education school in Hook, Hampshire

Lord Wandsworth College is a co-ed independent boarding and day school (11-18), set in 1200 acres of rolling hills and wooded valleys on the Hampshire/Surrey border. We inspire students to carve original paths and seize the unseeable. It was 1922, when founder, Sydney Stern began ‘widening worlds’ and transforming the lives of orphaned children. The aim was simple; to expand their opportunities and watch them flourish. Over a hundred years later, the ethos remains the same for all. With an expansive curriculum and inspirational teachers, we encourage all students to forge their own paths; exploring futures more exciting than they could ever have imagined.

When our youngest pupils join in Year 7, they are immersed in the welcoming surroundings of Junior House, with its own playing fields, gardens and nurturing environment. In Year 9, students are invited into one of our seven senior houses, where they become part of a supportive and dynamic community that spans the year groups and includes both day and boarding pupils. In our record-breaking Sixth Form, we welcome students to study a wide range of A-level and BTEC courses as they prepare for the ways in which they will shape our ever-changing world.

And for our international boarders, we offer a home from home and the opportunity to thrive in breathtaking surroundings, just an hour from London. Lord Wandsworth College is less than an hour from Heathrow Airport.
