Ellesmere College

Combined co-education school in Ellesmere, Shropshire

Founded in 1884, Ellesmere is a co-educational boarding and day school which offers students from Yrs 3-13 a platform for academic success and personal development. A wide ranging curriculum and activities programme allows each student the opportunity to excel in a range of disciplines - whether the Arts, Music, Drama, Sport or to develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

The Lower School (Yrs 3-8) provides a happy, secure environment which focuses on individual needs, and helps children grow into confident young people. Middle School students (Yrs 9-11) enjoy a stimulating environment with an extensive academic programme and an even wider range co-curricular opportunities. In Sixth Form - Yrs 12-13 - students have a choice of A levels, BTEC or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.

Ellesmere College has a longstanding tradition of supporting serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families and upholds the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant by demonstrating we are an armed forces-friendly organisation by offering a 20% discount on school fees to children of serving Armed Forces personnel.
