The King’s School is actually three schools – The Senior School, Junior King’s and The King’s School International College. All three are located in, or near, the historic City of Canterbury and just an hour from London. We’re co-educational, offer boarding or day schooling and welcome pupils from the ages of 3 through to 18. Whichever school you choose, they are all The King’s School; united by a remarkable legacy, situated in a beautiful part of England and sharing an open and inclusive culture.
The College focus is upon educating international boys and girls, aged 12-16, and preparing them for entry to a suitable senior school for their further studies. The students are very much part of the King’s tradition and history but receive an education that is an innovative blend of the traditional and very modern, specifically constructed for international children and genuinely equipping them for a global future.
The classes are small and teaching and learning is based upon research and discussion around a bespoke curriculum. Year 11s take an appropriate range of IGCSEs and all students receive a College Graduation Certificate which recognises their academic progress, their personal development and their all-round contribution to College life.
