Frensham Heights is an independent, coeducational day and boarding school for children age 3-18 nestled in the beautiful Surrey Hills.
Frensham Heights is a progressive day and boarding school founded in 1925 which offers an alternative style of education with the child at its heart. A dynamic, modern approach to education transcends the school years and aims to prepare each child for their future.
Students are asked to be active participants in their learning, challenging themselves and taking risks. They’re asked to question and explore - to develop as individuals, as part of the school community and as engaged citizens of the wider world. The arts are indisputably at the heart and creativity underpins everything. The Sixth Form Arts Awards programme prepares students for their chosen industry whilst supporting them academically to gain their qualifications. Everything is built on a firm basis of mutual respect.
Students are given more freedom than in other schools, but with that comes greater responsibility and ultimately a better understanding of how to live and behave beyond the school and home environments. Boarding houses are coeducational with separate dormitories and shared social areas. There is a huge range of weekend and evening activities and a London bus for weekly boarders. Throughout all there is a natural progression of what is expected from the youngest through to the oldest – a sliding scale of structure, freedom and responsibility.
There is a 10% discount offered to Forces families.
