Dean Close St John’s was recently voted a Best Value Preparatory School by the Good Schools’ Guide. It offers full boarding and an excellent all-round education for military families for just £5 a day. Set in beautiful countryside overlooking the historic town of Chepstow and the Wye Valley, it is dedicated to giving children aged 3 months to 13 years the greatest start in life. The School offers an exciting programme of weekend activitiesfor boarders aged 7-13 – canoeing on the river Wye, rockclimbing in the Forest of Dean, or swimming in the sea. Our boarding house is a home from home, focusing on a family atmosphere, with its own games room and large garden; the School’s indoor pool, tennis courts, play areas and grounds are also always available.
