Walhampton School

Co-educational, Girls, Boys, Prep, Boarding and Day in Lymington,, Hampshire

We are determined to develop and nurture each child into a confident young person, instilling our values of Kindness, Curiosity and Achievement. By the time they move on to their senior school, Walhamptonians are creative, resilient, problem solvers with a genuine love of learning, who are ready for life in the changing world of tomorrow.

Our unique location in 100 acres of woodland on the edge of the New Forest and The Solent means that we can offer a broad and balanced education that takes our learning beyond the classroom; into our kitchen garden, fields, lakes and woodland to bring subjects such as maths, English, science and history to life. Our Prep School children also have timetabled outdoor learning activities such as archery, bush craft, canoeing and kayaking on the lake and sailing. All children have access to horse riding lessons at our dedicated equestrian centre.

Pupils achieve 100% success in entry to their first choice senior school and in recent years up to 50% are typically awarded scholarships. Walhampton is confirmed as ‘Excellent in all areas’ by ISI. Pupils who have a parent in the armed forces are eligible for a discount on boarding fees and we can also sponsor their visa if you live overseas.
