Glenalmond College is a leading co-educational boarding and day school in the heart of Scotland, just one hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow airports. Set in 300 stunning acres at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, our safe, self-contained campus enjoys easy access to outstanding natural beauty. We offer GCSEs, Highers, A-Levels and BTEC qualifications, with a broad academic curriculum designed to suit different learning styles and future pathways. Our pupils progress to a wide range of top universities in the UK and overseas with 14% going to the University of St Andrews in 2025, the second best university in the UK, according to the Times/the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2026. With around 300 pupils in the school, class sizes are reassuringly small and every child is known, supported and challenged.

Around 70% of pupils are full boarders and enjoy a busy boarding programme of activities. Beyond the classroom, pupils enjoy an extensive co-curricular programme, including golf, horse-riding, kayaking, rifle shooting, bushcraft, archery and fishing.
