Carfax College

Carfax College is a private tutorial college in the heart of Oxford offering a complete boarding education, with a focus on academic achievement, to pupils of all ages.

We offer both one and two-year GCSEs and A levels, as well as tailored school entrance preparation courses. This year, our school entrance pupils achieved extraordinary results, gaining admission to some of Britain’s leading schools, such as Marlborough, King’s College Canterbury, Cheltenham, Shrewsbury, Sherborne and Uppingham.

The College specializes in one-to-one and small group tuition, which is closely attuned to each individual pupil’s goals and needs. Some pupils are aiming for top grades and entry to highly selective universities or schools (Oxbridge entry is a particular strength); for others the priority is laying a solid foundation for future progress. Close personal support is offered for pupils with special educational needs. Sports and cultural activities form an essential part of each pupil’s programme.
