The Oratory is an HMC co-educational 11-18 Catholic boarding and day school. Oratory boarders experience a nurturing home environment with all pupils, day and boarding, living in their Houses together. Boarding houses are centrally located on our safe and secure 100-acre campus, just 45 minutes from London Heathrow, in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.

The Oratory has high academic standards with the majority of our pupils gaining entry to their first choice university. The breadth of subjects on offer, combined with subject-based enrichment, promotes strong academic development. However, an Oratory education is about developing our young people in a deeper sense than exam results alone can demonstrate. Oratory boarders are offered a whole host of social and cultural opportunities that contribute another dimension to their broad Oratory education. Our school week runs from Monday to Saturday with sports matches taking place on Saturday afternoons; the rest of the weekend is taken up with an array of exciting activities and trips.
Visitors often comment on the inclusive family atmosphere of our school; it is this supportive environment that nurtures the confidence, self-expression, and resilience that are vital for success and happiness in the world of today.

“All our children have thrived at The Oratory in their own way. From academic and sporting success to art and drama triumphs, they have all found something that has given them confidence in themselves. We couldn’t be more proud of them” An Oratory Parent.
