Godstowe Preparatory School

Co-educational boarding and day, Buckinghamshire

Godstowe is an independent day school with boarding for girls aged 3 – 13 and a co-ed nursery and pre-prep. The school sits on an attractive, compact 12-acre site, perched on top of the hill overlooking High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. A rich history and sense of tradition dates back to 1900, with the school shortly celebrating its 125th anniversary.

With tradition at the base of academic excellence, the innovative teaching and state-of-the-art facilities provide plenty of space for children to grow, learn and thrive. On site facilities include 25m swimming pool, 15-room music school with recital hall, sports hall, dance studio, theatre and multi-use sports pitch and courts.

A passionate and dedicated staff stand at the forefront of Godstowe, inspiring pupils to make their own journey, choosing and thriving on their own individual route. Class sizes are kept small to ensure everyone receives the time and attention they need to feel supported and able to flourish. Outside of the curriculum, Godstowe offers a diverse range of extracurricular activities, with more than 100 currently on offer during lunch time and after school. Popular choices include sports, music, drama, art and STEM.  Boarding is an integral part of the Godstowe community and provides an intimate and homely experience with around a third of prep school boarding either full, weekly or part-time.
