Aldenham is a warm, welcoming co-educational school of 650 pupils, situated in 120 acres of stunning Hertfordshire countryside, less than 30 minutes from central London and less than an hour from four major international airports.
Aldenham School provides an excellent all-round education; in every inspection over the last 12 years it has achieved the highest possible outcome in all categories. Aldenham has outstanding facilities, impressive academic credentials, superb pastoral care and a firm belief in developing each child as an individual. Aldenham has been on the same site since 1597 and blends tradition with a modern, inclusive and fresh approach to education. Academic outcomes are strong. At GCSE half of all exam results last year were graded 7 (A*/A) or above and in the Sixth Form individual coaching is provided to those pupils aiming for Oxbridge, medicine or a Russell group university.
Aldenham’s reputation for excellence in sport is well-deserved (ISFA National Champions at football for the last three years) and we are equally proud of our creative arts with Drama, Art, Music and Dance performances being highlights of the school year. A blend of day and full/flexi boarding allows us to cater for all requirements. We would be delighted to show you what Aldenham has to offer.
