We encourage forces families to pay us a visit and see for themselves, what makes OSH so distinctive.

We are situated in the Midlands, right in the heart of England. Parents opting to send their children to study at OSH pay only for boarding, not tuition, which is why our fees are significantly lower than boarding schools in the independent sector. The School seeks to provide real opportunities and encouragement, and prides itself on getting the right balance between academic achievements, nurturing individual character and preparing pupils for the future.

Boarders at OSH grow in confidence, independence and emotional resilience so that when they leave the School, they are mature and capable young people. There are seven boarding houses, including a junior house for Year 7s and a recently opened Sixth Form house specifically for Year 13s.
