St Joseph’s College delivers a traditional British education and pathway through to the UK’s top universities. The College’s 60-acre parkland campus offers students space to thrive, within walking distance of Ipswich centre, one of England’s oldest towns. Located an equal distance from London and Cambridge, St Joseph’s is easily accessible via major airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and London City.
Students live in a very safe and structured environment, in which their care and wellbeing are paramount. St Joseph’s College also places a strong emphasis on academic study, together with the development of each student’s interests, talents and social skills. A large number of extra-curricular clubs and a comprehensive sports offering ensure everyone is kept busy. The majority of students at St Joseph’s College are UK nationals, with a smaller percentage coming from various European countries, Asia and Africa.
St Joseph’s offers full, weekly and flexi boarding, with no exeat weekends. Boarders and their parents view the experience as an excellent ‘stepping stone’ to university. The warm and friendly ethos of the College is guided by Christian principles. Aspiration, respect and confidence are key values for all the community. There are high expectations of students, both academically and socially, and a broad range of courses on offer, including GCSE, IGCSE, Pre-A-level, A-level, BTEC, CTEC and EPQ.
