Brentwood School is a UK Top 10 IB school (with a 38-point 5 year average) with boarding. We are co-educational, close to London and have two other Sixth Form Pathways to choose from (A-Levels and BTEC). We are within 30 minutes of Central London on the new Elizabeth Line, which also connects Brentwood to Heathrow Airport.
In 2025, we open our new state-of-the-art boarding house, expanding our boarding and with all rooms being single with en-suite shower rooms. However, we celebrate a 465-year history and take our heritage seriously. We are a Christian School, and our School values, encapsulated in our motto “Virtue, Learning and Manners”, have as much resonance today as they did when written by English poet John Donne in 1622.
Our sports centre houses a 25-metre swimming pool, used in 2012 by Team GB for training, and a fencing salle where our fencing team, Public Schools Fencing champions for 26 out of the last 34 years, train. We are proud to be a Steinway School, our musicians have played in the National Youth Orchestra and our actors have gained places in the National Youth Theatre, RADA and other top drama schools. We offer an enviable range of subjects including Dance, Film, Theatre, Chinese ab initio and Global Politics, as well as more usual subjects like Physics, History, English, Mathematics, Psychology and Economics
